Feeding a Hungry Harvest Crew!

Our Father has again blessed us richly with many blessings, spiritual and physical, and this time of gathering in the harvest is the perfect illustration of the Spiritual harvest upon us at this time. Pray ye the Lord of the Harvest that He send forth laborers...,

It takes 20 men at the height of the season to keep everything running smoothly, not to mention the many little things that go on behind the scenes..., like the sisters preparing delicious meals!

New Fuel Station in the Making!

We've had these old liquid holding tanks laying around for several years already. This year we decided to get a use out of them. It took a while to sandblast and paint them, but finished product looks pretty sharp.

Dining Hall Exterior finish

The Outside of our new dining hall is complete and it looks sharp! We did all the rock work and stucco ourselves.

Completed major landscaping and Earthmoving Project

It took 3 weeks and over 12,000 yards of dirt, but we filled in a deep valley to create a bit of extra real estate for possible expansion. We also installed all the utilities for 4 single unit starter homes. At the deepest spot, it needed nearly 20 feet of dirt to bring area up to level.

Springtime, Seedtime, Rebirth

Springtime! A season of rebirth and hope as we once again put our hands to the plough to kick off the seeding season. With many acres to cover and fields stretching from Makwa, Sask, to Dewberry, Alta, we opted to update some of our seeding implements, namely the grain carts. This year they are on tracks and somewhat larger than our previous models, now holding almost half a B train each.

Spiritually we have also experienced springtime for many of our young people, as 10 of them received Jesus Christ as their Saviour this spring, hallelujah, praise the Lord, glory to His mighty name! ! !

Choir Presentation in Provost, AB

We had a wonderful outing with the young people today. Visited Provost and had a choir presentation at New Hope Gospel Church. Small church but there was a very good atmosphere.

 We finally updated our aging MCI with this machine, it's a beauty! 2004 MCI J4500 with low km. It was purchased from dealer in Minneapolis, MN.

Pouring Kitchen Floor

Finally getting around to pouring the floors in new dining hall. It took a long time, and there is always so much else to do on the community, but the men ganged up and poured entire floor in two days. The weather cooperated nicely, especially for November!

The married men enjoyed a great getaway for 3 days at Canoe Lake, about 4 hours north of community. We had a 3 day fish feast!

Welton Kleinsasser and his family join our fellowship. Welton is not new to our community, as he was here for nearly a year back in 2012. They relocated from Minnesota with full blessings from the church where they came from, and we welcome them as they seek full acceptance into the brotherhood fellowship.

We staged an evening in honor of our mothers today. Invited all the neighboring couples and we joined for a special commemoration of the woman to whom we all owe our lives, our moms. Evening was special with lots of delicious food, music and even several skits to honor our mothers. And the men did the cleaning up afterwards!!
